Is sending results by email secure?
The email holds only a generic notice and a secure link. The report itself stays in Lab Desk, behind the link.
Do patients need an account or an app?
No. They open the link in any browser. If the identity check is on, they confirm their date of birth first.
Can I control who opens a link?
Yes. Links are unique, can expire, and can require a date of birth check. Every open is logged.
Do patients get the report in the email?
No. They get a short notice from your lab and a secure link. The report and summary open behind that link.
Can results also go by WhatsApp?
