Frequently asked questions
Can we run several locations on one account?
Yes. Multiple locations are included on the Pro plan, along with unlimited users and 5 instrument interfaces.
Can patients pay before they get results?
Yes. Send a payment link at the visit, or attach it to the result or invoice. Payments go straight to your Stripe account.
Do WhatsApp messages include results?
No. Email and WhatsApp messages carry only a short notice and a secure link. The results open on a private page, with an optional identity check.
Does Lab Desk handle imaging?
No. Lab Desk is built around lab tests with numeric results and reference ranges. Radiology and imaging workflows aren't covered.
How fast can we get set up?
Most labs can add their tests and start recording results the same day. Early-access labs get help with setup and data import.
