What counts as an order?
One patient requisition, which can include several tests.
What if I go over my monthly orders?
Your results are never blocked. Extra orders are billed at the end of the month: USD 0.25, 0.12 or 0.08 per order on Starter, Growth or Pro (CAD 0.35 / 0.17 / 0.11, GBP 0.19 / 0.09 / 0.06). We alert you at 80% and 100% of your limit.
Why price by orders, not seats?
You pay for the work your lab does, not for how many staff log in.
What is the platform fee?
A small fee on patient payments collected through Lab Desk: 1% on Starter, 0.5% on Growth, none on Pro. Stripe's own processing fees are separate.
Which currency will I pay in?
Your local currency: USD, CAD or GBP.
Can I change plans later?
Yes, upgrade or downgrade anytime from your billing settings.
How do I cancel?
Cancel anytime from your billing settings. Your plan stays active until the end of the billing period.
How do patient payments work?
You connect your own Stripe account and payments go straight to you. Lab Desk does not hold your funds.
